• Holy Week services

  If you would like to attend a service during Holy Week with your child, the times are as follows:
  
  Holy Thursday (28th March) - 7pm at St William's - Mass of the Lord's Supper
  Good Friday (29th March) - 3pm at St William's - Celebration of the Lord's Passion
  Holy Saturday (30th March) - 6pm at St. Patrick's - Easter Vigil

• Netball team through to the finals !

  Congratulations to Coach Radcliffe and the High 5 Netball team!
  
  During Wednesdays tournament the team were successful in securing a place in the finals by winning 4 out of 5 games and drawing 1 leaving them overall winners.  It was a fantastic team performance which has left us  looking forward to the next round.
  
  Thank you to all parents who have supported Saint Patrick's in this competition, we will see you in the next round at St John Fisher.

• Y6 Football Competition at the Soccor Dome!

  What a fantastic day!  Eight Y6 children spent the day at the Soccer Dome competing against over 40 school teams from across Wigan. 
  
  Even though we were unsuccessful in reaching the knockout stages of the competition the children were fantastic and took the league stages right to the last game where a victory would have secured us a place in the quarter final.  Unfortunately after going 2-0 up we were defeated by Worsley Meynes Primary School and they secured a place in the next stage of the competition. 
  
  The highlights of the competition, apart from our team spirit, were our 10-0 victory over Aspull Church B team and the selection of two of our girls to go and train with Wigan Ladies Football Club!

  
  Well done to all the children who took part. You did Saint Patrick's proud!!!
