The SENCO provides support for class teachers in planning provision for children with SEND.
The school provides training for all staff to improve teaching and learning for all children, including those with SEND.
Individual teachers / teaching assistants may attend training courses that are relevant to the needs of specific children in their class. This training is shared and disseminated among all staff as appropriate.
At St. Patrick’s Catholic Primary School, we liaise with TESS / outreach as appropriate to provide further guidance and strategies to help teachers work with children with SEND.
