Keep up to date with all the news happening in school at the moment.
During October every child in school will work alongside an older child to plant a Spring bulb. We began by creating a large shamrock shape (hopefully!) at the Junior gate entrance:) which we filled with daffodil bulbs. It will be a sure sign of Spring when the flowers appear.
Hindley Fire Brigade made a visit to school today to promote fire safety. They worked with the Y6 children to explain the dangers of fires and how to put out a fire safely & quickly. The fire fighters were really impressed with the maturity and enthusiasm to learn shown by the Y6 children.

"The fire crew from Hindley Fire Station (White Watch) attended the school today to give a 'firework and Halloween' presentation to the Y6 class. The crew were very impressed with how the class participated in the visit. A very polite and enthusiastic group of young people who were a credit to the school."
