• Rugby Training for Year 1!

  This term year one have a rugby coach from Wigan Warriors working with them. They have been learning and practising new skills. The children are enjoying joining in with rugby and are enjoying learning all of the new skills.

  

• A feast fit for a Viking!

  As part of the introduction to their new topic, Year 4 have recently enjoyed a Viking Feast. After researching and learning about the types of foods Vikings once ate and why, the children were able to sample for themselves some of the delicacies. They enjoyed tasting: fruit, vegetables, ham, cheese, chicken and bread. This was washed down with grape juice, milk or water. For the authentic Viking experience, the Year 4 area was suitably decorated with a wealth of Viking resources and artefacts. The children loved being Vikings for an afternoon!
