• Y6 Cricket Debut.

  Ten Y6 children competed in the Wigan Schools  Cricket tournament today.  Fortunately, despite a brief hailstorm, the weather was not to bad.  The event was split into two leagues and Saint Patrick's came runners up in their league with some fantastic cricket being played.  Well done to all the children involved.  A really great first cricket outing!

• Free tennis coaching for children aged 3-8!

  On Monday R/Y1 children were very lucky to receive a coaching session with a tennis coach from Robin Park.  The children really enjoyed the experience and have been invited to go to the centre for a free tennis session.  The session will be a fun hour of activities and games designed to introduce the children to the game.
  
  The coaching will take place at Robin Park (opposite DW stadium)on Sunday 19th May 2013.  The session runs from 2pm - 3pm and is aimed at all children aged 3-8 years.

  Congratulations to our netball and rugby teams who have recently been successful in their competitions. 
  
  The rugby team won league three at the Wigan Schools Rugby tournament.  Well done!
  
  The Netball team came third in the final competition of the Wigan Schools Netball tournament. The event organiser commented on the high standard of the finalist teams this year and said that the team had done Saint Patrick's proud!
  
  Well done to everyone involved in both competitions and thank you, once again, to the parents who have supported Saint Patrick's in these events.
