Remote Education

thethrive,SaintSaint Patrick’s Catholic Primary School

'We arise today, to learn, love and grow through Jesus.’

At saint Patrick’s we aim to create an environment in which each individual has the opportunity to thrive, supported by values of Christ firmly built into our everyday foundations. Education, welfare and wellbeing are at the heart of everything we do. Above all else, we want to foster a strong belief in all our children that they can succeed in all they do, no matter what. Working with all school parties, we wish to nurture each child’s potential and foster high aspirations. It is essential that we give them the toolkit needed to achieve their goals, regardless of background or starting points.

Remote education should only ever be considered as a last resort where a decision has already been made that attendance at school is not possible, but pupils are able to continue learning.

Please see the details of Saint Patrick's Remote Education Offer below.

Microsoft Teams at Saint Patrick's

When students have to stay at home  due to local lockdown and/or school closure, students will follow their school timetable and complete lessons online at the correct times, if they are well and able to do so. Our teachers will provide high quality online lessons through Microsoft Teams Assignments. Instructions for using Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Teams Assignments are available below. If children do not have access to a computer, laptop or tablet, or do not have access to the internet, to study remotely at home  during a school closure, they should inform the school via the year group email addresses.
