Music - Mamma Mia by ABBA
During our music theme day, the children studied the song Mamma Mia by ABBA. We researched ABBA, including when they were formed, how many group members they had and how they got the name ABBA. We listened to and evaluated the song before learning how to sign it. We enjoyed performing it to the whole school in our Teams' assembly.
This is Me!
In Autumn 1 Art Week, Year 4 looked at the work of Vincent Van Gogh and studied his painting techniques. They learnt how to use lines to create texture, depth and movement and how to add shade and tint with acrylic paint. They used these new skills to create a self-portrait in the style of Vincent Van Goh.
