'We Remember' Themed History Week

This week, we learned all about Thomas Woodcock and what he was famous for in preparation for Remembrance Day. We looked at different artefacts from World War I and went on a walk around our local area to find places relating to Thomas Woodcock. 

 

"Thomas Woodcock won a Victoria Cross Medal in the war" - Miley.

 

"Thomas Woodcock gave his life to make ours better"  - Poppy.

 

"The trenches the soldiers fought in were dirty and some of them got Trench Foot" - Josh.
