Week 1 - Transport

This week we have been learning all about Transport. We have explored different types of transport in the Maths Area and used shapes to recreate these. We have painted different transport in the Creative Area. We have also used the construction to make different vehicles.

Week 2 - Up, Up and Away

This week we have been exploring our theme Up, Up and Away. We have explored different types of transport that flies. We have created our own kites in the Creative Area. We have explored a maths game in the Maths Area where we have had to add the correct amount of people to the Hot Air Balloon ride.

Week 3 - Lost in Space!

This week we have been learning about Space. We have explored a Space Station in our Role Play Area where we have taken on the roles of astronauts and aliens. We have used iPads to take pictures of the aliens that we spot in space. We have also created our own space themed wreaths in the Creative Area.

Week 4 - Pirates

This week we have been learning about Pirates. We have explored our Pirate Ship Role Paly Area where we have taken on the roles of pirates and hunted for treasure. We have also helped a messy a pirate by using the Beebots to navigate around the map to collect all the pirates belongings.

Week 6 - Dinosaurs

This week we have been learning about Dinosaurs. 

We have been using our fine motor skills to use a range of different tools such as scissors and paint brushes when creating our own dinosaur scene. We have also had lots of fun using large muscle movements in the Outdoor Area when moving like a dinosaur and playing ‘What time is it Mr Dinosaur?’.
