Children work in a small group, which helps their concentration levels and learning focus; limiting distractions.
Year group spellings are practised during a daily precision teaching, spelling and handwriting session. Gaps in knowledge of spellings from the previous year group, are also targeted during these sessions.
Other spellings and phonic skills are targeted during ongoing writing, SPAG and reading sessions.
No Nonsense Grammar and Spelling resources are used to support and deliver the sessions.
