Lucy’s Garden is dedicated in memory of one of our former pupils: Lucy Martha Davies. Lucy - who sadly passed away following a brave, courageous battle against illness – was a devoted parishioner of St Patricks and her warmth and determination was a great source of inspiration to those around her. Prayer was central to Lucy’s life and, to that end, the Parish sought to establish a sacred space where prayer could occur. Lucy’s Garden was opened and blessed by our former Parish Priest, Fr Ron McGivern, in the summer of 2015. Since then, it has been used by children, staff, parents and visitors as a place to reflect quietly and to pray. It is also used for outdoor Collective Worships which primarily occur in the summer months.
