Greenhouses
Our greenhouse topic consisted of researching stable structures for the aim to create a greenhouse final piece and investigating materials, looking at how to join materials together using different techniques. Then the children designed their greenhouses creating a step-by-step plan making sure it met the requirements and was realistic. From there, they created their greenhouse using their design using the tools, equipment, materials and components they stated in their design brief. The children evaluated the effectiveness of their greenhouses after completion stating what went well and what they would change or alter about their design.
