Creative arts provide valuable opportunities and learning experiences for our children. As a school we use the Plan Bee scheme to help plan and deliver our lessons. The topics we will be covering in Y3 throughout this year are:
- Mechanisms & Construction (mini greenhouses)
- Textiles (making make-up bags)
- Food and Cookery (Decorating Cupcakes)
Children research a particular focus before creating a design that is fit for a particular purpose. They use a range of tools and equipment to make their product. Finally, they evaluate their ideas and products against their own design criteria, whilst carefully considering the views of others to improve their work for future projects.

Summer Term
Within the summer term, children will decorate cupcakes in preparation to sell these at at the summer fete.
