Autumn topic 1 2016

Our topic for this term is called 'Stone Age Britain'.

During this topic the Stone Age is brought to life for the children through a visit from the Wicked Workshop. They will have lessons that develop their archaeological skills and vocabulary, help them to create Stone Age art, as well as learning to research Stone Age homes. To understand the Bronze Age, the children will find out about tool making and they will explore the religious importance of Stonehenge. They will go on to explore life in an Iron Age village in which they will explore and understand hill forts.
