Writing (including SPAG)

This half term will begin with poetry, in particular list and kenning poems. We will then use 'Mr Stink' and 'Billionaire Boy' by David Walliams to explore stories with humour. Finally, we look at and write playscripts, linked to the Christmas Performance.

Guided reading and independent comprehension this half term will support our work in writing so we will read a range of poems, playscripts and humorous stories. Children will also continue to read their own accelerated reading book, both in school and at home.
