Welcome to our Year 2 Art and D&T curriculum page! As a school we use the Plan Bee scheme to help plan and deliver our lessons. The topics we will be covering throughout this year are:

 

Art: 

 

  • Self Portraits (This is Me)
  • Collage and 3D Focus linked to Remembrance
  • Painting and Printing (focusing on the famous artist Henri Rousseau)

 

D&T: 

 

  • Mechanisms & Construction (windmill moving mechanisms)
  • Textiles (textile hanging decorations)
  • Food and Cookery (Perfect Pizzas)
