Collective Worship

Children are encouraged to plan and participate in their own celebrations, e.g. class assemblies, school assemblies, class masses, class prayer, school celebrations on Saints days, Holy days of obligation, Christmas and Easter celebrations.  There is a daily worship in all units of the school.  This may be as a class, full unit or a whole key stage.  This takes a variety of forms but involves the children in depth.
As a Catholic school, all children normally attend the various celebrations of collective worship.  However, we do recognise the parents legal right to withdraw their children from collective worship and Religious  Education.  This would be in consultation with the Head teacher.
